A few days in Portugal.

Ola,

After a little snow in London last month we decided to fly a few hours south last week to get some sunshine and visit the Filipe family in Portugal for 5 days.

My sister recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, a sister for her gorgeous 4 year old.

We’re fortunate to have our lovely families just a few hours away, mine in Lisbon and Jessica’s in Paris.

Here are a few shots of various family members out and about in Portugal.

Choux a la creme patissiere

Bonjour!

Jessica takes pleasure from trying new recipes & baking different types of cakes, this in turn makes me happy Its a win win situation. We don’t really get the chance to take time to cook something delicious during the week so Saturday’s we usually put the oven to work.

Today, Jess whipped up some Choux a la creme patissiere, that’s in French, translated = flippin delicious, Ok, it doesnt really mean that but those were my first words upon tasting them.

Here are some shots I took before I magically made all the Choux’s disappear.

A few things close in.

Hey there,

I recently borrowed a Kenko Extension Tube from my in law, love it. It allows your current lens to work like a macro lens and focus closer than its normal set minimum focusing distance.

I took advantage of this mornings sunlight and shot a few random things.

The first set of images were taken of a shot glass with a mixture of different alcohols, the second, is of an ice cube & the last two are of some tiny drops which were on the living room window.
